Great experience overall, would come here again. If offers peaceful location very close to Sintra, beautiful Bonsai. Easy to get to Saudade, located within 10 minutes on foot. The staff helped us with luggage etc. Good to have a shower, a hair dryer and bath sheets in the bathroom. Breakfast consists of plenty of meals, including croissants and cereal. The collection of bonsai trees was amazing and fascinating. It was really interesting to see some that were very old. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to assist us with transportation and recommending local restaurants.- The location of the hotel was perfect, just outside of the busy town, so it was quiet and peaceful. We could easily walk into town without being overwhelmed by the noise and crowds.
The apartments felt a bit damp and cold, as it is an old building. The heating units were a bit confusing to operate, and I couldn't figure out how to warm up the lower level.

The unique and quirky atmosphere of this place was a refreshing change from other accommodations we've stayed at. The apartment we had was nicely furnished and equipped with everything we needed. The breakfast provided was delicious, with fresh rolls, croissants, ham. We also loved the fact that there was street parking right outside, making it convenient for us to come and go as we pleased. The location was great, with plenty to see and do nearby.
The wifi connection was a bit unstable, and we experienced periods where there was no connection for hours. Additionally, the low ceilings in the apartment may be uncomfortable for taller individuals.

Exceptional stay at a beautiful property with a serene atmosphere. The view from our window was simply amazing, with young bonsai trees adding to the tranquil ambiance. The owners were responsive, accommodating, and made us feel welcome. We enjoyed wandering around the Bonsai Garden and the relaxing vibes of the Zen Museum. Despite a slight issue with our bed on the first night, it was promptly fixed. The only minor drawback was the occasional noise from passing tuk tuks during peak traffic times. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful and memorable experience.
